Current Mission

From Gul Zantek's mission briefing to his senior staff:

"We've been reassigned from our scientific survey in the Badlands to investigate the disappearance of the Cardassian science vessel Helion.
     "Contact was lost with the Helion while it was studying an anomaly that could be a possible alternate power source. The loss of contact was initially thought to be caused by interference from that power source. Then this morning at 0628hrs. contact was lost with Listening Station #90147.
     "We have been ordered to proceed immediately to the Nefrus System. Central Command has been unable to determine at this time whether or not the Federation or Klingons are involved. We are to proceed with caution."

Battle Readiness:

The Keldon is a light cruiser used built for maneuverability and speed within a limited confrontation. It is still not known how the Ninth Order was able to procure Cardassian Military Vessels against the regulations prohibiting the Order to have said equipment. All systems on the Erdani seemed to check out as normal except for the fact that the warp drive is has more power than a Galor and the phasers are equivalent to that of a Galor's. In preliminary tests the Erdani was thought to have power tradeoffs when using weapons and or warp speed. Unfortunately due to the recent war with the Klingon Empire, the Science Ministry has not had an adequate amount of time to examine her before she was sent into service during the war.

Description of Bridge:

The first tier holds the exits from two lifts on either side of the bridge, including the entrance to the Observation hall and the Command cell (ready room). The second tier has consoles for security/misc. positions and science behind the Commanding Officer's chair.  The forward positions of tactical and helm are on the first tier near the main view screen. The third tier has the CO's chair and a second chair for the political or executive officer.
