Background:
Born on Bajor. An only child whose father is an Archon, mother is a professor of Cardassian traditional music. Because of her father's job, she experienced several moves, and for now, her parents live in the capital city of Cardassia Prime.
Though she has been a beloved daughter through her life, she has a trauma hidden deep in her subconsciousness. When she was 4 years-old, she happened to overhear her parents' conversation, that what they really had hoped for was not a girl, but a boy. Since then she has come to have a tendency to act manly, which her parents didn't like but she never quit, even after she had forgot the incident.
She started taking lessons of old martial arts at the age of seven, and has disciplined her body and soul with enthusiasm, but she has never used such skill in her life, has not even mentioned it to others but her parents,
which is because the 'Master' always told her not to. She clearly remembers his words... "A sword is not meant to a show, but to killing. Once drawn, your sword would never be satisfied until showered with blood, either of
your enemy's or yours. Remember, don't reveal your sword if you don't like to see the blood." She was not interested in blood, and after all, she has been protected so well that she found no necessity of using it.
Later, she entered the Central university of Cardassia and majored in law, to follow her father. At the age of 24, passed the bar exam and got a master's degree, and then suddenly she felt that going to the bar like that way is nothing but going into the grave. She thought that she might become a successful Archon, or a Conservator, whose life is safe, comfortable, peaceful, and utterly boring. "Is not my life an adventure?" she thought. "I need a challenge." She decided to get out of her loving and indulging parents' protection, and applied to the military to rebuild her life on her own.
Personality:
Lugtolyn Azel is judicial-minded, quite fond of irony and cynicism. "Irony is the spice of life." This is one of her favorite words. Anyone who makes friend with her, will be to share her joke of spice. Despite that, She is always trying to be a decent and honorable person. Looks like passionless usually, but when it comes to playing music, she turns to be very passionate. She is quite aware of that, and doesn't like to play in public.
