Rasied by my mother for the best part of my life, witnessed the death of my sister at the hands of Klingon barbarians.  Spent four years in councelling to overcome the trauma. Took a great interest in Alpha and Delta Quadrant politics and spent the rest of my life trying to get entry into the Cardassian Military.
