Sitex is very independent and firm on his opinions not giving up until he prevails or is irrefutably proven wrong. Reckless still today after his youth is no longer at its prime, he will obey blindfully only who he respects, usually meaning superior commanding officers... but not always. A perfectionist he will raise any question he finds relevant and pay attention to any details the smallest that they may be. Still, he is a loyal friend standing up for his fellows when they need a backup, helping in what he can. Being totally honest with the ones around him, he expects the same and is ruthless towards betrayal, or any form of deceiving... Cardassians have more meaningful things to do than deceiving each other, and who does so is and enemy of the empire deserving no mercy.
Quiet and kept to himself while off duty, he reads and keeps up with the latest of Cardassia. When on duty, he is not easily detoured from his duty but tends to interact with his fellow mates, to relieve any boredom, being himself easily bored.

Background:
Sitex Hulimrek is the only son of Takel Ellar Davor-L and Gaddar Davor-L, born 23 annos ago at the Omeckla III shipyard, where Gaddar, the father, was a military engineer working on the improvemet of energy conduits for better phasers to be fitted in future battlecruisers. The research was searching to come up with a new generation of phasers that could mach and even outpower the new MK XII phaser arrays used by the federation.
When Sitex was at age 10, Gaddar was killed in the explosion of an experimental conduit being tested on board of a Keldon class cruiser. Testimony of the potential of the new phasers, the entire ship blew up in a chain reaction that melted down most electronical circuits culminating in the accidental opening of the anti-mater seals. Most of the research has now ceased since Gaddar took with him many of his knowledge. It is just a good thing that Cardassia is still a match to any alien species of less nobility.
With nothing else to do on Omeckla, Sitex and Takel moved to Lakat City at Cardassia Prime, where he attended school to follow his father's footsteps as a scientist. Unfortunately for any teacher wanting to keep his sanity, Sitex was just not willing to follow any rules but his own and frequently getting involved in fights with other Cardassians. A bit short and wide bodied, he took bad any joke about his bone structure. That and the way he seemed to be able to talk out of his punishes for being so reckless told anybody that he was more likely to become a criminal or at the best of chances, a spy for the empire.
Eventually, Sitex came out of his course completely fed up with Mathmatical
sciences, and showed instead great interest in Alien races, and how to
fight for Cardassia's glory before those foreign breeds. He is sometimes
persistent and likes to have it his own way, not giving up until his point
of view is at least taken in consideration. Easily annoyable, he is very
active, always trying to keep his mind occupied and tends to neglect all
he judges futile. Sometimes rispid, other times plain gentle he is not
predictable most of the times, but has proven extremely loyal to his comrades
and his beliefs. Shows some knowledge of either diplomatic or military
tactics at some times.
He is not married but is in love with a young Cardassian named Calrad
Nor. She is and artist, and has quite a power over him, but right now the
wonders of space travelling do appeal to him too much to let a love nail
his feet to the ground.

Age 12: Didn't know he had to listen the principal and shut up. Suspended.
Age 17: Completes high school and joins college
Age 18: Made a bet with friends telling he could hit anybody with a
egg thrown from the top of the college building. Missed a student, hit
the Physics teacher. Suspended.
Age 19: Target for a disciplinary investigation for having supplied
freshmen with the solutions for a Robotics examination. Answers were fake
and no freshman had more than a redundant "0". Not proven guilty.
Age 19: Tested the theory of gravity with a classmate that had joked
about his mother. Suspended.
Age 20: Graduates. New course: Alien Technologies.
Age 20: Did a forced plastic surgery on a classmate. Suspended again.
Age 21: Meets Calrad Nor and falls in love.
Age 21: Calrad turns him into some sort of puppy...
