Personality: Dr. Joret Etak is a loyal Cardassian officer whose quiet, friendly demeanor puts everyone at ease. He is very dedicated to his family, the study of medicine and his military career.
Description: Joret is tall and powerfully built and is not afraid to use physical intimidation to back up his soft spoken nature. He is always neat and well dressed and when not in uniform prefers finely tailored suits in dark colors.
History: At a young age Joret made the unusual decision to follow his mother, Dr. Sena Maket, in the study of medicine. After being refused by several prestigious medical schools who felt that a male did not possess the nurturing abilities necessary to be a doctor, he joined the military and received his training there. Just before graduation he met the best friend of his cousin Altana Maket and after a brief courtship he and Allesa were married. Allesa accompanied him to Bajor where he studied trauma medicine first hand. When she became pregnant he sent her home to Cardassia and when the occupation of Bajor ended he joined her and his new daughter there. Now with the war with the Klingons and unrest in the Gamma Quadrant he applied for shipboard duty so that he may best serve his beloved homeworld.
