on Solaria

Solaria
Genealogical Data:
Spouse: None
Children: Several throughout the galaxy, but who knows their
names?

Psychological Evaluation: A human from the destroyed joint
human/Cardassin colony on Solaria VI, Marcus likes Cardassians after
a
fashion. He is good humored, but tough minded. He does
not anger very
often, patience is a virtue when you are human amongst Cardassians
Special Talents: A jack of all trades and a successful trader,
Marcus
speaks several languages. Ferengi, Romulan, Klingon, Galach and
Cardassian. Cardassian is his native toungue. Marcus has
had military
and martial arts training. He is no super fighter, but no pushover
either. He also has a tremendous amount of wealth, but the origins
of
it were lost when Solaria was
destroyed.
Reason for wanting to join the Cardassian Military: Marcus came
to
Rylok Nor after his benefactor in the Cardassian military fell from
favor. It is the home base for his trading empire. (which
is entirely
legal, of course)
He wishes to continue being a humble servant to Cardassia
Place of education: Solaria VI Military Academy.
Dates:
Major at the place(s) of education:
Double major Business and Inter-species relations
Background:
Born on the combined colony of Solaria VI, to a finacial and computers
wizard, Marcus has grown to be a major trader in the Cardassina empire.
Much of the official records of his background are lost, but it has
been
rumored that Roland was a Galt in the Third Order. He was forced
to retire,
(though keeping his rank in retirement) when the political climate
shifted
against aliens in the empire. He was also rumored to have been
a major
banker on the colony, but his bank was nearly insolvent at the time
of the colony's
dstruction. He left the planet and commenced trading. He
was not seen
within Cardassia for seven years, though many swear to having traded
with him in this time. (An interesting coincidence: Seven
years is the
time that the Cardassain legal system waited before declaring funds
lost
on Solaria at the time of its destruction gone forever.)
In any case, Marcus emerged as a wealthy man. He is currently
on Rylok
Nor to 'continue his service to the empire'.
