He follows orders, mostly without question or comment, and he is not afraid to present alternatives. He has a quick mind with a tactical flair. Although his approaches can be somewhat unorthodox, his loyalty to the Cardassian Empire is unquestionable. As with any sane Cardassian, Galath has no desire for cruelties or unnecessary violence, but he is not afraid to do what is necessary. Special Talents: Galath has a keen tactical mind, as our initial tests have proven. Father Marak (a Gul at the time) met his wife Ooral when visiting a colony in the DMZ. Off course, then Bural was still a Cardassian Colony; a thriving one. Gul Marak was forced to this planet for repairs after a brief but violent skirmish with a Klingon ship. The repairs would take a full three weeks, so the crew had a lot of time on its hands. Gul Marak spent a lot of his free time exploring the countryside of Buralae, the main city of the colony. Bural was a paradise for Cardassians, uncomfortably warm for most humanoids, but perfect for Cardassians; varied wildlife and habitats, from lush Jungles to beautifully coloured rock deserts. It was on one of these outings that Marak met his future wife, a young artist spending most of her time drawing the various landscapes of the planet. They fell in love and spend the following two weeks in complete bliss, until Marak had to leave. They made a vow to meet again when Marak's current assignment was completed. Three years they had to wait, Marak had asked for a planetside assignment and received one on Cardassia Prime. He immediately sent for Ooral and the two reunited on the Cardassian home world. Soon after, they had a son. He was named Galath, after Oorals deceased father. Two years later, a daughter followed; Ooratha. Galath was a strong boy, and under watchful eye of his father, he grew into a strong man. As soon as he was old enough, Galath attended the Palace of Advanced Education, a tactical school, preparing him for a career in the Cardassian Military. Meanwhile, Ooratha walked in her mother footsteps and became an artist. Together with her mother she opened a small but respectable gallery for Cardassian Art. After a few years Marak resigned his commission and started helping out his wife in the gallery and even giving the arts-profession a try, the same year that his son Galath graduated and prepared for a military career...
